Nick Barfoot – Managing Director After completing his studies at Cannington College in Somerset, Nick pursued a career in retail horticulture and as a tree surgeon before joining Blakedown in 1990 as a contracts manager. A year after he joined the company, Nick opened Blakedown’s Bristol office and has progressed through the company to become Managing Director. Nick has worked on many high profile contracts over the years, including the award winning Swannery in Llanelli, a contract that restored derelict land to a thriving marshland. |

William Rowe – General Manager, Blakedown International Landscaping LLC William is responsible for the company development in Dubai. He controls installation operations via contract managers, procurement, programming and estimating, ensuring timely project delivery, as well as project negotiations and client liaison. William has twenty years experience in the horticulture industry, operating multi disciplined projects to a wide range of values, including developing wildlife habitats and planting over one million trees, shrubs and aquatics for Babtie Group and landscaping to Tesco store on the Isle of Man, and the largest Tesco in Europe. |
