DESCRIPTION OF WORKS: Blakedown International Landscaping LLC designed and built an attractive villa garden for a notable Russian client on the Jumeirah Palm Island. Mature palm planting, turfing and extensive ornamental shrub plants have been provided, all supported by subsurface irrigation system. Water features have been installed to ensure the focal beauty of the garden along with the subtle above and below ground lighting. DESCRIPTION OF WORKS : A private Villa on the Palm Island in Jumeirah, designed by Kamphausen and Kamphausen landscape architects and built to their exacting standards, including:- Hard wood timber decking to the pool area, screen planting, and complementary lighting. A front garden water feature and semi mature palm planting, provide an attractive frontage to the property and sandstone paving has been added to ensure good access to all areas of the garden. DESCRIPTION OF WORKS : A private Villa in the popular residential area of Dubailand provided Blakedown International Landscaping LLC with a blank canvas and undisturbed site. A full design and build project using our in-house design team and directly employed construction staff involved them in removing existing soils and sands and the importation of growing medium. Planting of palms, shrubs, climbers, and groundcover using species which are easily maintainable, along with the installation of a self contained irrigation system. The hard works included the laying of sandstone paving, edgings, timber boundary fencing and a timber pergola complete with sandstone flooring and shingle roof. The front garden was complemented by the addition of a ceramic urn water feature and topiary trees. |

DESCRIPTION OF WORKS : This simple but effective scheme, designed and built by Blakedown International Landscaping LLC, provides their client with a low maintenance garden for their holiday retreat on the world famous Palm Island in Dubai. Earthworks to remove the existing surfacing were undertaken, with a separation geo-textile membrane laid beneath a clean and colourful gravel to brighten the garden. A sandstone paved sun terrace has been created to provide a relaxed dining area, along with structure planting and soft lighting. The overall result is a virtual maintenance free garden to be enjoyed day and night. |

DESCRIPTION OF WORKS : Blakedown International Landscaping LLC have developed the concept design provided by both the client and a local design company and have constructed a magnificent multi level garden to this private Villa. With the extensive use of imported Italian limestone and granite the garden features beautiful paving, outdoor pool kitchen, upper terrace bar, live fire wall and shade canopies to cover the pool seating areas and terrace bar. All of these have been constructed by Blakedown, to an extremely high standard. Two main water features are integral to the design using slate cladding with tumble shelves and white pebble collection pools, with lighting for maximum effect. Mature plant material installed around the boundary walls, including pleached Conocarpus provides an attractive backdrop to the extensive pool area, and with a subtle lighting scheme and comfortable garden furniture the whole experience, especially at night, is magical. An irrigation system has been installed by Blakedown to ensure the softscape areas remain in perfect condition. A feature fire place has been installed in the inner courtyard to bring the indoor experience outside. |

Palms 6m high have provided a stunning impact to the garden and with understory planting, paving, shade canopies and lighting a peaceful yet functional garden has been created for the personal benefit of the villa owners.
